If you're seeking adventure beyond just pretty views, Aling-Aling Waterfall in North Bali is your spot! This isn't just one waterfall, but a series of cascades including Kroya, Kembar, and Pucuk, offering thrilling cliff jumps (from 5m, 10m, and 15m!) and natural rock slides. Get ready to embrace your inner daredevil!

💡 Good to know for foreigners:
 * Entrance Fee:
 * IDR 20,000: To view the falls (no swimming/jumping allowed).
 * IDR 125,000 - IDR 150,000: Includes a mandatory local guide for jumping, sliding, and swimming. Highly recommended for the full experience and safety!
 * What to bring: Swimsuit, towel, water shoes (essential for slippery rocks!), change of clothes, waterproof camera/GoPro, sunscreen, and cash.
 * Safety First: Always follow your guide's instructions! The rocks can be slippery.

🚗 Getting here:
Aling-Aling is in North Bali, so it's a bit of a drive, but totally worth it!

 * From Canggu: Approx. 2-2.5 hours by car/taxi (around IDR 420,000-500,000+).

Floating Serenity at Ulun Danu Beratan Temple

Captured the ethereal beauty of Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, seemingly floating on Lake Bratan in Bedugul! This iconic temple, dedicated to the lake goddess Dewi Danu, is a true Balinese gem. The misty mornings here are pure magic.

Essentials:
 * Ticket Price: Around IDR 75,000 for adults.
 * Dress Code: Dress modestly – shoulders and knees covered. While a sarong isn't always required at the entrance, it's respectful to wear one or carry one just in case.
 * Best Time to Visit: Early morning for that mystical misty vibe and fewer crowds!
 * Bring: A light jacket (it can be cooler here!), cash for small purchases, and your camera for stunning shots!

How to get here:
 * From Ubud: About 1.5 hours by car/taxi (approx. IDR 360,000-440,000).
 * From Canggu: About 1 hour 20 minutes by car/taxi (approx. IDR 420,000-500,000). Scooter rental is an option for experienced riders, but mountain roads can be challenging.

Kelingking Beach: Picture a T-Rex head cliff diving into the ocean – epic views!

Getting down to the beach is a bit of a "nature's obstacle course," but the secluded sand and wild waves are worth it.

Prepare for a hike and some stunning photos. You've been warned about the climb!

Tirta Empul - Tampak Siring

Ah, Tirta Empul! You know, that place in Bali where you can dunk your head under a spout and instantly feel... wetter.

They say the water is holy and cleanses your spirit. I'm pretty sure it mostly just cleanses your hair of whatever questionable beach concoction you had going on.
It's quite the spectacle, really.

Picture a line of folks, looking slightly bewildered and very damp, shuffling their way under a series of fountains.

Some look deeply spiritual, others just look like they're trying to avoid getting water up their nose. And the best part? You do it all in a sarong that's probably seen more holy water than the Pope's bath towel.

Definitely worth a visit, if only for the photo opportunity of you looking like a freshly baptized otter. Just try not to swallow too much of that holy H2O – you never know what kind of enlightenment that might bring (probably just a tummy ache).

What is interesting about Bali? Is it the culture or the people?

Bali's allure comes from the captivating mix of its rich culture and the warmth of its people. It's not really one or the other; they're deeply connected and create the island's unique charm.

The culture is fascinating with its unique form of Hinduism, vibrant arts like dance and carving, strong sense of community, deep spirituality, and colorful ceremonies.

The people bring this culture to life with their welcoming nature, deep devotion, artistic talents, resilience, and strong family ties.

So, what's interesting about Bali is the beautiful way the culture and the people intertwine, creating a truly special and memorable experience.
